India is one of the oldest civilizations in the world. The constitutional country name is Republic of India or Bharat Ganrajya. It is surrounded by the Great Himalayas in the north and it spreads towards the south. It closes between the Bay of Bengal in the east, the Arabian Sea in the west and the Indian Ocean in the south.

Climate
The climate of India can broadly be classified into four seasons:

Religions
Hindus are the majority with approx 80%, Muslims came second at 13%, followed by Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and others.

There are so many regional languages that have been recognized by the Constitution of India, in which Hindi is an Official Language. The English language is also used for official purposes in India.
